Dr. Ahmed Abdullah is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of practice experience, based primarily in Florida with additional practice locations. He has performed more than 6,000 surgical procedures and accumulated over 16,000 hours in the operating room, and holds board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Abdullah earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where he trained under Drs. Martin Robson and John Heggers, who pioneered research on aloe’s healing abilities.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery. Dr. Abdullah has served as a clinical professor of plastic surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and serves on the Ethics Committee of the North Dakota Medical Association.
As an internationally celebrated plastic and cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Abdullah is a recognized expert on the restorative and healing effects of aloe vera, and is a pioneer in applying pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera to surgical flaps to expedite healing. He is the founder of Lexli Skincare, an advanced line of aloe vera-based skincare products, and authored the book “Simple Skincare, Beautiful Skin: A Back-to-Basics Approach.”
